Compared to last nights shot, todays was a walk in the park! I had excellent light conditions which allowed me to take some nice shots in and around our local harbour. It was a nice calm day, if a little on the cool side, so I had plenty of time to pick my shots today. I even managed to get a few snaps of the local wildlife, including a couple of the neighbourhood seals that like to come and relax inside the harbour walls. The lighting allowed me to get the vivid colours right out of the camera – no Photoshop needed on this image today. Normally the RNLI lifeboat is away its shed, but today the bright orange gave an excellent flash of colour against the blues, grays, and reds in the background. If only all my shoots would be this easy! Tomorrow’s should be a bit more challenging as I am hoping to try a new technique – capturing motion with a blurred background. We’ll see how well that works out!
Short and sweet today I know, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing every so often! Thanks for taking the time to have a read!
